Finding Beauty in the Ashes: One Woman’s Story

I could have gone to bed tonight asking God for many things. To bless this, that, and the other thing. To make A and B happen. To allow X, Y, and Z to come to fruition, and so on. But, I know God has already done all of that, and is currently working things out for our good, and has blessings in store for us in the future.

How, you ask? Because He’s God, and that’s just what God does. He is Love itself and knows no other way than to love us and work all things for our benefit. He knows everything. He knows all the desires of my heart and all the prayers I have whispered from the time I started speaking to Him when I was just a child.
So, instead, I focused on the miracles. The blessings that have been poured into my life since I was born are too numerous to mention. All He has done for us in this past year alone would turn this post into a book.
I praised Him and thanked Him for it all.
