
2. Talk about it with someone you trust.
Don’t feel like you have to suffer through your sadness or melancholy alone. Tell your spouse, family member, or friend that you are having “one of those days” when you feel overwhelmed and teary-eyed. Talk through what might be causing these feelings, and if the tears come in the conversation, let them flow.
