2. Start the tradition of having a family “Journal of Thanks”.
This is one of my favorites, and it is super easy. Just get a nice journal and have each family member write down what they are thankful for that year. If you want to make it more interactive, then have everyone go around the table and say what they are thankful for out loud while one family member writes the answers down in the journal. This is something your family members can do every year, and you can even look back at it together. Be sure to assign someone to take good care of the journal the rest of the year. This simple tradition has the potential of becoming a treasure for your whole family every Thanksgiving.
