3. Don’t just watch the football game; PLAY a football game with the whole family.
I know several families that do this every Thanksgiving, and they LOVE it. You can even decide who is on what team ahead of time and have coordinating shirts to represent each team. Be creative and competitive to add to the fun. If some of the kids are a little to young to play, then encourage them to be fans in the stands by giving them noisemakers, pompoms, and popcorn. There is something for every member of the family! A family football game is a great way to get outdoors, interact with your loved ones, and work off all that yummy food.
