5. Make prayer a daily priority.
Prayer is our lifeline–especially when we are going through hard times. Yet, when we’re angry at God and frustrated by our circumstances, we tend to shy away from prayer. However, prayer is the very thing that will help us to stay strong in the midst of our struggle. So, set some time aside every day and pray together. Prayer doesn’t need to be lengthy or complicated. Just talk to God. Pray for each other and for your family. Pray for you both to have strength to face the situation that you are going through. Pray for your marriage and family. Pray for peace. Pray for healing. God hears your prayers, and He brings peace that surpasses understanding right when we need it.
