Sixth Stop- Mina and Stoning the Devil
After Fajr prayer and sunrise, we started walking towards Mina to do Ramee (stoning the Satan) in Mina at the Jamarat. Our tent in Mina was located between Muzdalifah and the Jamarat. It honors the memory of Abraham as the Satan tried to deceive him three times on the way to his sacrifice of Ishmael. Large pillars that get hit by pebbles now mark the three spots.
