A Big Picture Update From Shaunti — Two New Books Are On the Way! September 26, 2019

Hi friends! I wanted to give you an update on what’s been going on lately. I know a lot of you were aware that for a long time I was in Cave Mode working on the next book. Well, I’m excited to announce that I’m out of Cave Mode because the book is in! Woohoo! (Can you hear my staff cheering with happiness as well?!)

The book—Thriving in Love & Money: 5 Game-Changing Insights about Your Relationship, Your Money, and Yourself—will be published March 3, 2020. And for the next six months we are moving into a very fun, exciting, fast-paced mode of getting ready for the book launch! We’ll be working with Thrivent, our research sponsor, and some other partners to create tools to help churches and individuals apply this to their lives. (More to come on that soon!)

The reason this topic and book are so important is that most people are like me—money can cause issues in marriage but we don’t necessarily talk about it and we don’t know how to deal with it. Our research found that all that stress isn’t really about the money. (As Lysa TerKeurst’s endorsement of the book put it, “This is a money book that has nothing to do with money!”) Jeff and I are excited to help couples understand what drives their money attitudes and behaviors so they can thrive in their marriage around money.

The second update is that very soon we’ll be announcing an addition to the “Find” series of devotionals and Bible studies that we’ve written. As you all are aware, we wrote Find Rest, Find Peace, and the Bible study Find Balance. And we have a new devotional that we’re in the middle of working on. I love being able to dive in to help women—as our tagline goes—“find what we are looking for.” (And I can tell you right now, the message is so important and as a side bonus, the artwork is absolutely gorgeous!). So stay tuned . . . we’ll announce the title and topic very soon! And maybe even a sneak peek or two!

Thank you so much for your prayers over the last few months as my team and I have been knee-deep in book writing, editing and ministry projects. We’re excited to move on to the next steps in the process and can’t wait to share them with you!

We have a number of new speaking topics/opportunities available for your church or organization. If you’d like to learn more about how you can have me come speak to your group, women’s conference, church congregation, workplace or club, click here
