Our souls were made for union, union with God for all eternity.
We were not meant to be forsaken.
We were not meant to be excluded, unchosen or forgotten.
Someday in heaven, the deepest desires of our hearts will be fulfilled. There, we will finally come face to face with Him and our hearts shall be filled and overflowing with joy!
O lonely soul, God knows you, sees you through and through and loves you completely, unconditionally and without end.
He has called you forth from eternity, gazed upon you with delight and called you by name.
You are His and His alone. You are His beloved forevermore.
Forget all your heartaches. Remember not the times you have been overlooked, rejected or abandoned.
You are not secondary to anyone. Didn’t you hear that He leaves the ninety-nine behind so He can look for you?
Be not afraid and trust the One who gave His own life as a ransom for yours. Who shed His blood so that He could redeem you.
Yes, you. You, whom He has loved from the very beginning. Whom He shall love even to the very end of days.
Did He not promise to be with you always? And did He not say He is going to prepare a place for you so that where He is, you may also be?
God watches over you night and day. His eyes are filled with compassion towards you.
No one else could take your place in His heart. You are unique and one of a kind. Not even the brightest of stars can replace you in His sight.
Have you ever been excluded from relationships you wanted to belong to? Have you ever felt as though you always had to prove yourself and compete for someone’s attention and care?
In heaven, there will no longer be competition or exclusion. You will finally feel that you belong. After all your heartaches, you will finally be home.
There, you will be loved as you deserve to be loved. You will be seen and valued. And you will know how precious you truly are.
Let every hurt here on earth bring you closer to the thought of your eternal destiny. Let every tear make you long for God’s embrace.
He is waiting for you. And one day, you will finally know what it means to be loved fully, unconditionally, faithfully and without end.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be.”
– John 14:1-3 (NABRE)
“The great, essential joy of heaven will be the Vision wherein we shall see God face to face, shall know even as we are known, and love as we are loved… To love and strive for the object of desire is a natural beatitude. But God is infinite perfection, and the knowledge we shall have of Him is direct, face to face, the most intimate possible to creature; and love in heaven is not merely that of desire, but of fruition, derived from the possession of Him. We love and are loved, we possess and are possessed, we enjoy and are enjoyed, we are united to God… as heat to the molten iron… dissolved in Him as two pieces of wax fused together.” — Francis Cassilly
