A Text without a Context is a Pretext for Whatever you want it to Mean

The problem is that  this verse should be translated ‘I can endure all things through him who strengthens me’, NOT ‘I can do all things…’   The context makes this clear.  Paul has just said he has learned to endure bad circumstances and good, plenty and want, and to be content whatever comes.  BW3
