Quote of the Day
David Mills on FB (March 17, 2023) I don’t approve of suspending the discipline against eatin gmeat on a Lenten Friday just because it’s St. Patrick’s Day. Also, I am going to have a hamburger on St. Patrick’s Day because the decision is made above my paygrade and to refuse is Protestant, or Puritanical, or Jansenist, or priggish, or . . . what is the disciplinarian form of pedantry? . . . or something.
Catholicism is more fun when you don’t try to be better than your bishop.Fr Matthew P.
