Last Week in Life was a tough week to remember and to live. At least 4 different people looking for someone showed up at the wrong house only to be fired upon by the owner fearing for their life. This happen in…
- Kansas City. 16 year old Ralph Yarl was going to pick up his younger siblings and rang the doorbell of 84 year old Andrew Lester instead. Andrew decided a black teen ringing his doorbell was a threat to his life and opened fired without as much of a warning or trying to find out why his doorbell was being rung.
- Some young adults were trying to find a friends house in upstate New York. pulled in the wrong driveway and 65 Kevin Monahan appared on his porch with his gun and opened fired on the girls killing 20 year old Kaylin Gillis.
- Some Cops showed up in New Mexico looking for a domestic abuser but went to the wrong house. 52 year old Robert Dotson showed up at the door with a gun and the police took out their guns and shot away.
- A ball rolled into a person’s yard in North Carolina. The owner 24 year old Robert Louis Singletary came out and fired upon a 6 year old, her parents and a neighbor.
SDG May or May Not Be Notable@DecentFilms (April 18, 2023) Because Dotson had a gun for his protection, he’s dead and his wife is a widow. Because Lester and Monahan had guns for their protection, they’re in custody facing felony charges, an innocent woman is dead, and a child was critically injured and underwent surgery.
This past week was the anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing, The Columbine Shootings and the first shots of the Civil War.
However people did more then shoot others.
A young peasant martyr warrior saint was canonized.
People survived various earthquakes.
And freemasonry was condemned.
All this and more happened…

Mike Lewis@mfjlewis(April 18, 2023)
Maybe the solution is a return to public confession.Think about it: None of this bickering about the seal, no shenanigans in the box.
Added bonus: People will have a new reason to come to church. And we’d all get to really know our neighbors.
While I think it’s both extremely unlikely and far-fetched, I am not entirely opposed to the idea. Accountability and transparency would skyrocket. Clericalism would plummet when Fr Dave has to confess in front of his people. Manipulative pastoral advice would get called out…
