CBF Church Starts Podcast: Healthy Partnership Practices

CBF Church Starts Podcast: Healthy Partnership Practices 2017-04-18T09:00:45-04:00

Navigating partnerships with established churches can be stressful and awkward. There are all sorts of questions to consider, including: How do you tell your story? What kind of partnership do you desire? How long do you need these partners? What is your big ask?

If you are an established church, you’ve probably discovered that you are not above the noise of difficult partnerships. In addition, most established churches are facing financial decision that make it unreasonable to partner with new church starts.

And yet there are endless creative ways to partner together in renewing God’s world.

We interviewed two established church pastors partnering with church starts to give you a glimpse into the other-side of partnerships. Greg Dover leads August Heights Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina as they partner with Alfred Johnson and Greenville Church Without Walls. Dr. Mark White leads First Baptist Church of Clayton, North Carolina as they partner with Mosaic Church of Clayton.
