Iran

Now would be a good time to keep the nation of Iran and its people in our prayers. the recent electoral controversy could erupt into terrible violence. At the heart of the recent election is a battle over the meaning of 1979’s Islamic revolution. Will Iran move toward a more republican, moderate regime or drift further toward a combination of populism and authoritarianism? I would pray the former, as such an environment would be a step toward opening more vocal and public proclamations of the Gospel in that part of the world.
