In Praise of President Obama

I’m normally pretty tough on our current President. Which is why I wanted to point out this article from Pajamas Media (which is conservative) praising his rhetoric and actions related to education reform. It praises his understanding of what needs to change, especially in the attitudes of students, politicians, teachers, and parents, toward improving schools. Currently, the situation too often is a constant blame game, with a circle of persons who can point the finger rather than take responsibility. If President Obama continues to speak as he does and back it up with comparable action, he could do some helpful things in this area. And for that, he should be supported and applauded.
