In what qualifies as the celebrity good deed of the week, Grammy Award-winning singer Taylor Swift paid a surprise visit to an elated six-year-old fan, Jordan Lee Nickerson, who is undergoing chemotherapy at Boston Children’s Hospital for leukemia and other related issues.
The two chatted about Spider-Man, among other things, and even dueted on Swift’s hit “We Are Never, Ever, Ever Getting Back Together.” Jordan’s family wrote on Facebook that Swift “is an amazing person that brightened our sunshine’s day.”
Kids can be good judges of character, and Jordan seems to sense that Swift’s concern and compassion for him are real. And though the singer is notoriously single, she displays some good future mom qualities in the accompanying video of their visit.
