Normally on Sundays I’ve been posting reflections on Lumen Fidei; but this has been a busy weekend, what with my life profession and all, and so I’ve elected to post the following video instead.
See, my son David and his friend Grant had to do a project for their German class, and they elected to translate some recipes from German into English and prepare them for the class. They made a kind of chocolate cake, german potato salad, and soft pretzels, and a video documenting their work. The video is just over three minutes long; the work lasted all afternoon and well into the evening.
Note: although Grant knows his way around a kitchen better than David, neither are what you’d call really experienced at cooking.
You won’t see much of David here; though he has a line or two, he’s mostly behind the camera. But my wife Jane (who should have been billed as technical consultant) gets a cameo.
