Two police shootings

Are making the news.  There are others of course, killings involving the police and not involving the police.  These are the ones I’ve heard about.  Right now, I know nothing.  Repeat, nothing.  I know two people were killed.  I know police officers were involved.  Nothing I can do right now will change a thing.  As a person of faith, all I can do is pray for those who died, their loved ones, all who are involved, and justice.  That’s it.  I’d like to think all people of faith would agree.  When we know more, then we can move forward.  And then we can pray that we allow our verdicts, one way or another, to be shaped by what we discover.  Not advance our verdicts despite what we discover.  And that goes both ways.
