3. The “Black Lives Don’t Matter” post

Voddie Baucham should probably have his own post. Fortunately, Homeschoolers Anonymous has already done it. Baucham has spoken at a male supremacist homeschool convention, and advocated an “all-day session” of spanking toddlers to “wear them out”.

Of course The Gospel Coalition has given him a platform. Of the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson, Missouri, Baucham wrote: “Brown reaped what he sowed, and was gunned down in the street. That is the sad truth.”

Four black evangelical leaders who examined Baucham’s piece described it as “extremely anti-black”. Meanwhile, in June 2016, the Polemics Report did an analysis of The Gospel Coalition’s “soft bigotry and overt racism”.
