My friend Dr. Ugo Perego (second from left) sent me this photo of “the bishops of Rome” — he knows that my only ecclesiastical ambition has always been to bear that title, “bishop of Rome,” which he himself currently holds — posing near the still-incomplete Rome Italy Temple with the statue of the Angel Moroni, which would shortly afterward be placed on the temple’s highest tower. (I’m guessing, just on a hunch, that not everybody shown in the photograph is actually a bishop.)
It has been a painfully and frustratingly slow process, but the Italy Rome Temple is now solidly on the path toward its eventual dedication. Here’s a link to two new videos about yesterday’s placing of the statue of the Angel Moroni atop the temple. I’m particularly fond of the second one:
