We who are associated with the Interpreter Foundation and its weekly publication, Interpreter: A Journal of Mormon Scripture, are pleased to be able to share with a Latter-day Saint audience an important article by Noel Reynolds that first appeared in the Scottish Journal of Theology 68:2 (2015), 218-34:
“The Gospel According to Mormon”

The 10 June 2018 episode of the Interpreter Radio Show is now available for your listening convenience on the Interpreter Foundation’s principal website. This program’s discussants included Allen Wyatt, John Gee, Hales Swift, and Jared Ludlow, and the conversation centered on the release of Dr. Ludlow’s new introductory book, Exploring the Apocrypha from a Latter-day Saint Perspective. Participants in the program explored concepts and ideas related to the Apocrypha and how the Apocrypha relate both to the Church and to personal scripture study. In addition, the discussion also examined the challenges provided in the June 3 youth “fireside” by President Russell M. Nelson.

Moreover, two new Old Testament “KnoWhys” are up on the Interpreter Foundation website, designed to help teachers and students in the Gospel Doctrine classes of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints:
“What Was the Religious Role of Music in the Life and Times of David?”: An Old Testament KnoWhy[1] relating to the reading assignment for Gospel Doctrine Lesson 22: “The Lord Looketh on the Heart” (1 Samuel 9-11; 13; 15-17) (JBOTL22A)
“How Does the Story of David’s Loyalty to Saul Apply in Our Day?“: An Old Testament KnoWhy[1] relating to the reading assignment for Gospel Doctrine Lesson 23: “The Lord Be Between Thee and Me Forever” (1 Samuel 18-20; 23-24) (JBOTL23A)

Do you find such things valuable? Have you enjoyed them? Profited from them?
If you have, would you consider contributing something to support our efforts? Obviously, large contributions are welcome. But even modest donations are very helpful.
