Three new pieces were posted today on the website of the Interpreter Foundation:
This is yet another brief but helpful contribution from Jonn Claybaugh:
This is an Interpreter Radio Roundtable for Come, Follow Me Old Testament Lesson 2, “In the Beginning God Created the Heaven and the Earth” on Genesis 1-2; Moses 2-3; Abraham 4-5. The panelists for this roundtable were Mark Johnson, Matthew Bowen and Kerry Muhlestein. This roundtable was extracted from the November 28th broadcast of Interpreter Radio. The complete show may be heard at https://interpreterfoundation.org/interpreter-radio-show-November-28-2021/. The Interpreter Radio Show can be heard Sunday evenings from 7 to 9 PM (MDT), on K-TALK, AM 1640, or you can listen live on the Internet at ktalkmedia.com.
During the Winter Semester of 1986 at Brigham Young University, Dr. Hugh W. Nibley, professor emeritus of ancient scriptures, presented a series of twenty-six lectures to an Honors class on the Pearl of Great Price. This class was videotaped in the Maeser Building and made available by FARMS as both video and audio recordings. The text was then transcribed and included in Ancient Documents and the Pearl of Great Price, published by Deseret Book.
This week we have the audio recordings of a total of five Pearl of Great Price lectures relevant to the second Come, Follow Me Old Testament lesson on Genesis 1–2; Moses 2–3; and Abraham 4–5. We’re also including a separate lecture on “Patriarchy and Matriarchy,” an address given at the BYU Women’s Conference on 1 February 1980. Where available, we’ve also included links to the video recordings. Over the next month, we will post the remaining lectures relevant to the Come, Follow Me lessons that include sections of The Pearl of Great Price.

We ate tonight at the Maya Mexican Grill in downtown Richmond. It’s not traditional Mexican cuisine. It’s more, I suppose, of a modern Mexican fusion. I liked it. Especially the Queso Fundido. We had intended to have sushi. But when we reached that restaurant, it was very crowded. Given the current situation with the omicron variant of COVID-19 and fearing a long wait time, we changed plans. And things turned out just fine.
