Trevor Keeney is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Stout who had a presentation to give. So, he got dressed up, but soon realized that he had no idea how to tie a tie. He jumped in his car to see if his friend could do it for him, but his friend wasn’t around. Then, his day got much worse, when Officer Martin Folczyk pulled him over for speeding.
The officer, after hearing of the student’s predicament, offered to help him tie his knot.
“While I do this, why don’t you grab your proof of insurance and your driver’s license quick,” the officer told Keeney.
After Folczyk tied the tie, he gave it to Keeney to try on.
“Probably not the best knot, but it’ll work,” he told the student.
“A lot better than what I was gonna do, that’s for sure” Keeney replied. “Thank you so much.”
These are the types of cops I know. These are the men and women who care deeply about their communities. These are the types of stories that need to go far and wide.
