A Little Perspective

Funny how a random visit to Facebook can clarify one’s thinking.

He’s been on my mind, so I decided to see if Deacon Joe Marotta’s Facebook page was still up and running.  It is.  The latest entry is from June 27th, which would have been his 15th wedding anniversary.

It’s a message to Joe from his wife Katie:

I can’t let the day go by without wishing you a happy anniversary. Neither one of us was perfect, but what we had together was pretty close to perfect! I love and miss you!

Damn.  Just…damn.

I think I need a walk.
