Prayerful good wishes to Andrew Petiprin, former Episcopal priest who on the first day of this new year embarked on the greatest adventure of his life. I posted on his story a few days ago.
He’s given up a secure job with the Episcopal church and is setting off into the Great Unknown — walking, as the great hymn tells us, by faith.
An update (with several pictures) can be found on his Facebook page:
Today on the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, we became Catholic. We were received, confirmed, and received our first communion together as a family. The welcome we received from the congregation at St. Patrick’s Church here in Nashville was so moving. Thanks to our Lord for his goodness to us. Thanks to the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the saints in heaven praying for us and setting examples of faithfulness. Thanks to everyone around the world who has prayed for us and encouraged us.
Ad multos annos! What a beautiful, courageous witness. Please keep him and his young family in your prayers.
