A priest reader dropped me the following note:
I know you often like to report deacon ordinations. Today, Bishop Charles Thompson ordained 11 men for the Diocese of Evansville, Indiana. They are good and holy men.

A visit to the diocese’s web page revealed the Twitter feed for the newspaper, The Message, and these great new pictures of the freshly ordained deacons and their happy bishop. Below, a great shot of the cathedral, with some 700 people in attendance for this happy event. The men’s names and assignments are posted here.
