To Me, Nothing Says “Good Friday” Better Than This

A beautiful piece of music that I hear every Good Friday, always sung exquisitely by our choir.  Last night was no exception. It brought me, as it always does, to tears.

This was a favorite piece of music of our late pastor, Msgr. Joe Funaro; it was sung at his funeral. It was also the communion hymn at my Mass of Thanksgiving, the morning after I was ordained.
