A Piece of the Sun from God ~ A Poem

(Hey peeps, I’m still on Retreat, returning on Sunday the 26th, so any comments will be answered then…)

I wrote
Before
That I haz a SAD
Which is kinda funny
But not really
Because what it actually feels like
Is that the darkening air is
Pushing me back inside
My fears
And there is no extra bright light to make them appear shiny.

Luckily, I got a piece of the Sun
From God
And in the Winter I keep it in a strong box in my house
(The Sun is powerful. It must be contained well.)

I sit before this hungry star and offer my troubles into an
Ecstasy of confidence.
