Sikhs in Dubai have Magnificent New Gurudwara now January 22, 2012

Sikhs in Dubai have something to rejoice. A new Gurudwara has come up called Gurudawara Guru Nanak Darbar. The Gurudwara has come up at a cost of $20 million and built on 25,400 square feet of land provided by Vice-president and Prime Minister of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoum. The place is Jebel Ali area.

The Gurudwara seems very impressive. Dubai has over 50,000 Sikhs and it provides a place for them to congregate in a proper religious atmosphere and also have a place for weddings and other religious ceremony. Here is a video on it.
