Erik Campano is formerly local host of National Public Radio’s All Things Considered at WSHU in Fairfield, Connecticut. His journalistic work on third world development
spurred an interest in humanitarian medicine, and he studied biomedical sciences at the University of Paris between 2009 and 2011, finishing the première année commune aux études de santé at the University of Paris-Descartes. He is continuing his study in the sciences at Columbia University in New York. Campano completed his undergraduate work in 2000 in Symbolic Systems with a minor in Religious Studies at Stanford University in California, and spent the following year in Hakodate, Japan, with Stanford’s Volunteers in Asia program.
