Ended with a bang…

First thing that happened today… I fell HARD.  At 6:30am.  Running through my kitchen -a slippery when wet linoleum floor – with heels on.  Landed straight on my hip with all my weight first then my head hit next.  Screamed & scuffed the floor.  10 hours later feel like -literally- all sore similar to how I felt when I got whip lash from a car accident I was in. 

I was so frazzled & head-achy I forgot my winter coat!  Yes, I, Grace Biskie -hater of all things cold- walked out of my house without a winter coat in 15 degree MI weather!  (Now, you know I hit that noggin’ hard)

And then…

I loved my class today.  I have the best professor alive & by the end of this class I will have the book of “Ruth” memorized & will recite it to my class for a grade.  How freaking awesome is that?  That is too fun to be graded on.  Feels like highway robbery to me.   (Have I mentioned that I love my school? –I’ll try to stop so as not to be too annoying).

And then…

I had really good buttermilk pancakes & bacon at IHOP for lunch…while simultaneously catching up with my good friends Jodi & Jean on the phone.  I love those girls so much.  

And when I got to the car I realized I had another winter coat in my car which I had kept forgetting to take to the dry cleaners.  It’s dirty, but hey –it’s warm!

And then…

After my last class I went over to my girl Marla’s house.  I stay every Thu. night in the area of my school which has become such a gift to me.  #1.  Because I love Marla #2.  Because Marla has a great guest room with an awesome space heater. & #3. Because Marla has a really nice jacuzzi in her backyard. 🙂   #4.  Because I get to sleep all the way through the night without my husband, my son, or one of my two cats waking me up for some reason.

So, I ended my day with my new friends from school Marla & Bethany in a jacuzzi in the backyard in which you have to walk through snow & ice bare foot in your bathing suit while it’s 10 degrees outside but then you adjust, drink your hot cocoa & the girl talk rolls on as it should.

Started bad… got better in the middle…ended with a bang.
