For a little holiday laughter and cheer… Just downright funny…especially for “24” fans…

In other news…

Yesterday, my little Reeserton got his 2-month-old immunizations.  It was either the Tylenol or the stress of the occasion, but he gave me one of the best night of sleep that either of us have had in awhile.

Which was great because I feel a schooch better from this snotty, cough-y cold I’ve been fighting.  Enough to host our good friends Dave & Jessica for dinner the other night, get Chinese food & play settlers with our good friends Ryan & Joy last night and today prepare to host my in-laws for tomorrows Christmas celebration –which also happens to be my husbands 35th birthday!  (What an old-timer, eh?) 🙂

I also really enjoyed Christmas shopping yesterday with Ransom.  He had $8 of his own to buy all his Christmas presents and it was so sweet to see him walk up and down the aisles of the Dollar store.  It was so fun to get gifts for others too.  I wish I had more to spend on our friends and family this year!  It was great to get something and think, “he/she/they will love this!”

One more morning of out & about tasks & then Dave & I are off for lunch date to celebrate my 33rd birthday which is on the 30th but he’ll be out of town at a Conference on that day.  I’m hoping he’ll say, “honey, you know you deserve a purse in addition to this lunch!”  (It’s sort of a tradition now, he gets me the purse of my choice every year for my birthday). 🙂
