Gisele Bundchen Would Like You to Pray That Her Husband Wins the Superbowl

I’m not really into the whole sports thing, but I did manage to keep this blog “on trend” with some celebrity-spirituality content. Supermodel Gisele Bundchen recently sent an email to close friends and family asking them to pray for her husband, QB Tom Brady, and his team, the New England Patriots, to win the Superbowl. We only know about this because one of those close relatives or friends leaked the email to the New York Post.

She wrote:

My sweet friends and family, This sunday will be a really important day in my husband’s life. He and his team worked so hard to get to this point and now they need us more than ever to send them positive energy so they can fulfill their dream of winning this super bowl . . . So I kindly ask all of you to join me on this positive chain and pray for him, so he can feel confident, healthy and strong. Envision him happy and fulfilled experiencing with his team a victory this sunday.

Apparently she also called him “Tommy.”

I don’t really think G-d cares who wins football games, but if a supermodel says you should pray for her husband feel free to get on board with that. I’ll be at a six-mimosa brunch if you need me later.
