“We made a person who admitted sexual assault president.”

As you probably know, those words were uttered by Hillary Clinton, not long after Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein was exposed for decades of womanizing and sexual assault. Spoken like a woman who is as bitter as wormwood, Hillary is intent on never letting go of the fact that she lost the election. She desires to take President Trump down, and lying is just one of the ways she is attempting to pound a few more nails into the coffin of her rival, while taking the spotlight off her friend, Harvey.

President Trump has never admitted to sexual assault. He was accused of it, but unequivocally denied all accusations. One case in which he was accused of assault has gone to court more than once. But the young lady (Katie Johnson) involved keeps backtracking, saying she doesn’t have a case after all, due to what she feels are threats on her life if she legally proceeds. A judge has also thrown out the case due to lack of of ability on Johnson’s part to file a case correctly.

Maybe Johnson is telling the truth. Maybe she could use the 100 million bucks she’s seeking. Maybe Trump is guilty and paid her off already, but she’s a spender and needs more cash flow. Who knows? And that’s the point.

Who knows?

Certainly not Hillary. Definitely not me. Trump and Katie Johnson (and maybe billionaire Jeffrey Epstein) are the only ones who know the whole truth and nothing but the truth. And at this point, all we know for sure is that Miss Johnson has been nothing short of willy nilly and ineffective in her attempt to prosecute, and Trump remains insistent on his innocence.

If it was the tape recording of the convo with Billy Bush that Hillary was suggesting made Trump guilty of admitting sexual assault, she needs to think again. Trump’s vulgarity and suggestions of groping women without their consent in that recording were disgusting and inappropriate, no doubt. But verbal puke that could easily be mistaken for the rhetoric of a twelve year old pubescent boy does not automatically make one guilty of sexual assault. As suspicious and disgusted as that recording made all of us, none of us can say without a doubt that Trump acted out his words or has ever admitted to sexual assault, as Hillary claims.

Also to be noted is that Trump has publicly apologized for that recording, which is more than we can say for Hillary’s husband, who did nothing but publicly defend himself after cheating on Miss Hillary. With his intern. While he was in the White House.

Trump clearly tried to impress a fellow “man” with juvenile claims about grabbing women’s body parts without consent. But being a crude loud mouth doesn’t automatically equal the actions of what that mouth claims. If it does, I’ve got a list of celebrities who will, at some point in time, kill, or hire someone to kill President Trump.

Clearly, the first female Democratic presidential candidate is out to discredit and destroy Trump, and she doesn’t care how low she must go to do so. Harvey Weinstein was the focal point of the conversation in which she accused Trump of admitting to sexual assault, and her attempt to equate Trump with Weinstein was unfounded, untrue as far as we know, and unabashed.

We’ve got to get back to telling the truth in this country, even if it means our opponent doesn’t look as bad as we would like him to look. Same as when rumors surfaced that Barack Obama is gay and prefers old men. Same as when Michelle Obama was accused of being transgender. If you don’t know it’s the absolute truth, don’t spread it.

Perhaps Hillary and the entire left could relax a little if they valued what our forefathers valued: the balancing of powers. Human nature, they knew, tends to veer off onto one side of the ditch or the other. If left unchecked, the left tends toward socialism or communism. If left unchecked, the right tends toward anarchy. Thank God neither of those ideologies were the plan for America. And thank God for the electoral college, which also protects us from ourselves.

Truth is, twelve to sixteen years straight of gassed up liberalism (Obama years plus Hillary years) could have very well ended America as the forefathers intended. The other truth is, the forefathers were more in tune with the trends of humanity than 99.999% of Americans today. They didn’t set up the American system on a whim. They forethought. They prayed. They studied humanity. They studied man’s generosity, tendencies, and downfalls. Then they penned, after they grasped the extent of man’s depravity, including their own.

Trump has been good for America in many ways. He has balanced out some wicked and potentially destructive socialist and immoral thinking. You may be a socialist, and therefore offended at my praise of Trump for nixing what you view would be beneficial to America. But the only reason you think such thoughts is that you’ve never lived socialism. And if you have, you’ve not experienced how ugly things can get under that type of government.

America is not perfect. Never has been. Never will be. But I cannot find another country in the history of mankind that has done better by way of economy, religious freedom, freedom of speech, or any kind of freedom. And if we want that to continue, we will stop the false accusations. The hate. The threats. The disrespect that only leads to division.

Love your neighbor as yourself. I’ve said that many times in my writings. But until we start doing it, we will fall short of being “one nation, indivisible.” And as the Good Book says … every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

Neither Trump or Hillary are outstanding at unifying a country. We have to look back in history to find that kind of deep character, and I wish for my country’s sake we would study up on the great people and minds who came to America so long ago to form a nation unlike any other. They were wise, thoughtful men. They were not perfect men. Likewise, America is not perfect and never will be. But their ideas of how a country should operate (which were not based on dictatorial methods or obese government) are the closest to perfect you’ll ever find on earth.

We would do well to respect what the forefathers intended. The forefathers’ timeless ideas. And each other.

Or, we could just continue to tear each other apart.

Our choice, really. You think North Korea and little man Kim Jong-Un are a threat?

Harrumph!

We are our biggest enemy.

America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.  ~Abraham Lincoln
