Jesus Blog: Thirsty?

More today from my Saturday “Jesus Blog” – a word from Jesus to you…

If anyone tells you you have to do anything to get my approval, they don’t speak for me.

If anyone tells you that even though you come to me by grace, you then have to do things to stay in my good graces, they don’t speak for me.

If anyone makes you feel less than loved, less than valued, or in danger of my rejection, they don’t speak for me.

Some things don’t suit you. Hurting yourself or others doesn’t suit you. Eating from a dumpster doesn’t suit you either, but you figure that out pretty quickly as soon as you try it.

Relax about doing ‘right or wrong’ and just get to know me. Together we’ll work out the rest of your life.

I love you. I will give you life. I will give you water that will take away your thirst.

I have some pretty cool things to say. I have some pretty radical things to teach.

Let’s just spend some time together.
