There was a time when truth mattered. When a fact was a fact, when reality wasn’t up for debate. But somewhere along the way, truth lost its footing. Now, truth seems to bend and shift depending on who’s speaking, and facts are dismissed if they don’t serve an agenda. We are living in a time when deception isn’t just tolerated—it’s expected. People lie, rewrite history, manipulate, and gaslight, all while claiming to hold the moral high ground.

And it’s exhausting, isn’t it? Trying to chase truth in a world where reality is always questioned. Where people can look at the same event and walk away believing opposite things. Where blatant lies are spoken with confidence and conviction. It’s enough to make your head spin.

But here’s the thing: When truth is constantly twisted, when facts are always up for debate, we must anchor ourselves in the one thing that cannot be questioned. The one thing that is unshakable, unchangeable, and undeniable.

Love.

Real love. Unconditional love. The kind of love that doesn’t require proof or validation. The kind of love that doesn’t manipulate or deceive. The kind of love that doesn’t need to win an argument because it’s too busy holding space for others.

You see, people can argue about policies, rewrite history, and spin narratives, but they cannot erase the truth of love. Love is our foundation when everything else crumbles. Love is the thing that makes us human, the thing that keeps us connected, the thing that heals and restores.

Jesus didn’t say, “They will know you are my disciples by your ability to win debates.” He said, “They will know you are my disciples by your love.” (John 13:35) Love is the truth that cuts through deception. It doesn’t need to shout, because it simply exists. And when we love—truly love—there is no argument to be won.

So, when the world feels upside down, when lies are told with a straight face, when reality itself seems to be slipping through our fingers, come back to love. Love your neighbor. Love the people who don’t think like you. Love the ones who are hurting, the ones who are cast aside, the ones who are told they don’t belong. Love the ones who challenge you, the ones who frustrate you, even the ones who believe the lies.

Because at the end of the day, love is the only truth that cannot be taken away.

And that’s something worth standing on.
