More today from my Saturday “Jesus Blog” – a word from Jesus to you…
God may be leading you to love like you have never loved before. To love people you have been taught to reject and even hate.
That’s a wonderful thing. God is love.
But many people – in my name – have programmed you with fear.
They use fear to keep control over you, to keep you full of shame, guilt, and confusion.
They use fear to turn you against people who are different from you.
It is a lie. I have no part in that.
I know you have questions. I know you want answers.
You say you love me, please hear my heart.
Trust the Spirit of God inside you.
You have stepped outside your comfort zone and may be feeling new things. It can be scary and you can begin to worry. You try to understand.
Please just let go. Give it to God. Let the Spirit give you comfort and reassure you.
I invite you to be okay with the mystery that often comes when you open up your box, open up your heart and mind to the truth of God.
Just take the next step. Focus on following me.
Together we can keep the wolves of fear at bay.
You can never love too much, too fully, too radically, or too unconditionally.
