Fumbling Toward Grace
was the day, many years ago (ok, not that many, but enough!). A woman was due any day now, and started labor. After many hours and an emergency c-section, and new life came into the world!
That sweet little baby, full of joy and always loving to be near people, has grown up to become the person nearest to my heart, and the person whose salvation is intimately tied to my own. That’s right! Today is the birthday of my wonderful Atticus — my husband, best friend, and hero.
And lest we get too mushy here — please enjoy my favorite birthday song ever!
