Dear Suzanne Collins,

Dear Suzanne Collins, March 27, 2012

Stop ruining my life and causing me to neglect my blog, dishes, laundry, and family.

Yes, your books are that good.

I read The Hunger Games (book 1) in 48 hours, and I think I fell into a time warp because I don’t remember anything that happened during that 48 hours other than reading the book.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I am going to B&N to get the second and third books with the gift card I got for my birthday and haven’t yet used.

Anyone seen the movie? Thoughts? Is it worth going to see?

After Harry Potter ended I didn’t think another book series would be able to suck me in that way. Until I gave in and bought The Hunger Games last week as a little present to myself for getting my license. Holy Moses.

So Potter-head is what they call HP fanatics. What’s the word for Hunger Games fans? Has anyone cornered the market on that yet?

Also, I found this awesome video of Fr. Barron talking about Hunger Games and human sacrifice. It’s long but so worth watching.

So if you’re wondering why it’s been so quiet over here, it’s not because I’m cleaning. It’s because I’ve been sucked into the Suzanne Collins mind-warp known as Hunger Games.
