It’s been really quiet over here because we had a house guest! My dear, dear family friend Glo who was present at Maggie’s birth came to visit this week (and to see Maggie for the first time since her birth!).
We had a blast.
Went to the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Zoo, the Children’s Museum, took a lot of walks, obligatory shopping, and some really great meals out.

I also addicted her to Say Yes to the Dress.
Oh Randy.
We sat on the couch after Maggie went to bed and watched about three episodes each night. Finally, someone who willingly watches it with me, not scowls with his back to the TV (ahem, Atticus). Bliss.

While we’re talking about wedding dresses, I have been using Pinterest of late to plan my vow renewal ceremony which will take place in about 7 years. Also known as my imaginary wedding.
In case you were worried about what I’ll wear, I found my dress:
I love everything about this dress.

Then I found this on Pinterest which sums up my entire schooling experience with Math.
Exactly. This is why I studied humanities.

In employment news, I am going to be adding a second WW meeting each week starting in June. So I’ll work Mon. and Wed. evenings for a grand total of five hours each week. It’s a good fit. Working at the meetings is a really nice social outlet because I get to talk to other adults without having to compare child poop disaster stories.

I finally got a part of TOMS shoes. They are excellent. Very, very comfortable and I love supporting such a socially responsible company.
I love them; this is the pair I got. I would love to get another pair, especially these:
gorgeous.

This weekend we do not have plans. So exciting. The only thing I really want to do is clean up our stroller because I am going to sell it to a consignment shop and get a different one. I am done with it. It’s driving me completely insane.
It only rolls well on smooth pavement. It gets stuck on cracked sidewalks, gravel, carpet, and the harness keeps coming out of the stroller. I’m over it.
I’m on the hunt for a new one, but I want to sell this one first.
I want to get something like an umbrella stroller (but not flimsy, with a sunshade, and storage basket underneath), because I’m hoping within the next year I will need a double (no this isn’t an announcement).
We’re going to check out this one over the weekend and see if we (I) like it.
If anyone has it (it’s the triumph model) I’d love to know what you think! It has good reviews, but it’s always better to hear about it from people you know.
Anyway, nothing much except stroller shopping happening here this weekend.
Hope you all have a happy and blessed Memorial Day weekend! Oh yeah, and check out Jen for more Quick Takes.
