We woke up this morning to some presents from the ever generous St. Nicholas. Well, I’m supposing the heretics he punched did not think he was all that generous, but luckily for the Fumbles family, we may be a lot of things, heretics not one of them.
We have a surprise bag for Maggie:
St. Nick dropped it off with a letter, telling us that this is a surprise visitor from the North Pole, here to help us learn about being naughty and nice.
The elf is, of course, already off somewhere making mischief.
St. Nicholas wasn’t done though. There were some presents for Maggie in her stocking.
Some spiritual reading for the 2 and under set.
There were even gifts for Mom and Dad, too:
How did he know just what I wanted? Catholic feminism and saints, peppermint mocha and gold! Cannot wait to dive into this book.
Daddy got some Catholic cd’s from Lighthouse Media (from rockstars such as Venerable Fulton Sheen, Scott Hahn, Fr. Robert Barron, and The Popcaks), a Sports Illustrated with Andrew Luck (Atticus’ man-crush) on the cover and Notre Dame featured on in the inside, and gold.
Really, whoever invented chocolate wrapped in gold was basically a genius. If only the gold were real, this would be the best saint feast ever.
Did St. Nicholas make a stop at your house?
Hopefully it was to give you presents and not to punch you in your sleep.
Happy feast of St. Nicholas!
