Today I am grateful that I live in a nation where I am free to cast my vote for the candidates I see fit without fear of violence or recrimnation. I am grateful that I can proudly take my Catholic conscience into the voting booth with me.
I feel gratitude for the women who worked so hard to earn me the right to vote. I am grateful to the feminist foremothers for their struggle, their sacrifices, and for their pro-life convictions.
I am grateful to live in a nation where power is transferred without bloodshed and acts of violence. For the gift of democracy.
For the right to vote, no matter who I vote for.
What are you grateful for today?
