Trump supporters attacked by violent protesters

Some 200 protesters physically attacked attendees at a campaign event for Donald Trump in San Jose, California.  Most of the attackers were Hispanic young people, who burned the American flag and raised the flag of Mexico.  They also smashed windows, vandalized cars, and actually chased people leaving the rally, punching them and throwing bottles at them.

Said one observer, “I’ve never seen anything like that in America before.”  Exactly.  America is used to civil discourse and non-violent political processes.  Unlike other countries, such as many in Latin America. Feeling threatened by Trump’s goal of sending back illegal immigrants, they seem to be bringing the non-Democratic style of politics here (thereby seemingly proving Trump’s points and strengthening his position).  Trump has also mobilized the hard left, which also–in accord with Marxist revolutionary theory–believes in political violence.

This is going to be an ugly and possibly bloody election.

“It was unbelievable,” said Steve Tong, a Cupertino resident who attended the Trump rally.

Tong said after the rally, he was walking toward a nearby parking structure and saw protesters surrounding and taunting an elderly couple.

“I’ve never seen anything like that in America before,” Tong said.
