A Pause in the Blog

A Pause in the Blog

We’ve been in Australia since the first of the month, as I said we’d be, visiting our daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren whom we hadn’t seen for three years, due to the COVID lockdown.

We’re having a wonderful time with them–including doing some Australian things, such as watching our 11-year-old grandson’s cricket match and spending a week in a holiday house right on the beach, next to the bluest waters I’ve ever seen, and we had it all to ourselves.

I’ve been able to keep the blog going, thanks to writing during some down times, but I’ve got to give it a rest.  This week I have some speaking gigs in Queensland, a part of Australia we haven’t seen, with its tropical rainforests, mountains, and coral reefs.  So while we are there I’m not even going to try to keep up with the blog.

I hope the pause in the blog isn’t so long that you will break your Cranach habit!  Unless I get eaten by a saltwater crocodile–a distinct possibility where we are going–I plan to start posting again in a week or so.
