DISCUSS: Move Fast and Break Things?

Facebook entrepreneur Mark Zuckerberg once laid out his philosophy:  “We have a saying: ‘Move fast and break things.’ The idea is that if you never break anything, you’re probably not moving fast enough.”

Since then, “move fast and break things” has become something of a motto of the tech world.  It is said to be a principle behind Elon Musk’s DOGE initiative and President Trump’s breathtakingly rapid changes he is making to the federal government and the national–and international–economy.

Do you think this is a good philosophy for an individual, a company, or a government?
