Blog quirks

I’m enjoying playing with the bells and whistles we’ve added to this blog. One annoyance, though, as some of you have also complained, is that when you click “comment,” the IntenseDebate software throws you all the way to the bottom of the comments, letting you state your mind without reading what everyone else has already said! And if you are just interested in reading, rather than or in addition to commenting, you have to scroll all the way to the top. Until we find a way to fix this, what you can do is click the TITLE of the post. That will show all of the comments in order, and you can post your own comments at the end.

Also, for some inexplicable reason, some comments are going to a “pending” folder for my review, even though they do not include any bad words or multiple spam-like links. I don’t know why this is happening. If your comment doesn’t show up, this is probably what has happened. I will approve it as soon as I can.

Another example of improvements containing disimprovements.
