Liveblogging the GOP debate

This could get interesting.  Here is the dramatic context:  Trump and Cruz are running neck and neck in Iowa.  They will likely be attacking each other.  The other, more interesting, plot is that the Republican establishment despises both of those two, so the remaining candidates will be competing to get the mainline support.  Rubio has been the front runner for this group, so Christie (who is starting to do well in New Hampshire) and Bush, in particular, will be attacking him.   So there might be some fireworks tonight.  Or, rather, a circular firing squad that could end up hurting all of the candidates against the Democrats.
