A new series tells the story of the Bible in animation

A new series tells the story of the Bible in animation October 3, 2019

A new free series telling the story of the Bible is coming to life through animation. The Animated Bible Series, produced by Revelation Media in partnership with Salem Media Group, tells, “The entire story, God’s story, presented in motion comic animation.”

This is the world’s first visual presentation (animation) of the entire Bible narrative from Genesis to Revelation and will be free to the global missions’ community, according to Salem Media Group.

“There are lots of stories based on the Bible,” it states. “However, The Animated Bible Series utilizes over 90% Scripture and follows the events of the Bible episodically and in chronological order from Genesis to Revelation. It is a teaching tool to reach the next generation for Christ while giving them a firm foundation of God’s redemptive plan as revealed in the entire Bible.”

While some countries still ban the Bible, confiscate or destroy it, the Animated Series will be available to everyone for free online.

“Imagine being able to watch the Bible in an animated format,” Revelation Media states. “Our children and grandchildren will be able to learn through dramatic video and audio. In countries with low literacy, the Animated Bible Series will have an unprecedented impact. In countries where Christian are persecuted they can keep a copy of their phone and always shave access to it.”

The Animated Bible Series will contain 50 episodes and cover the entire Biblical narrative. To date, Episode 1: The Creation is complete. Episode 2: The Great Flood and Episode 3: Sodom and Gomorrah are in production.

Donors and those who register online as a member who give monthly contributions, receive a free DVD copy of Episode 1, free access to RevelationMedia’s Digital Theater and a backstage pass to every new production released.

Member support helps with the production, translation and distribution of the project.
