Numbers 29: No Holding Back

Moses told the Israelites all that the Lord commanded him. -Numbers 29:40

When it comes to living for God, there is no holding back. We are called to follow the Lord and to share him with all we can.

One of the many positive traits mentioned concerning Moses is that he told his people all that the Lord commanded him. He never held back. He did not live for God at fifty percent or even ninety-five percent. He served the Lord fully.

In our culture, it has long been acceptable to attend church, say good things about God, and try to stay out of too much trouble. Yet this is far from the example of Moses or the Lord’s desire. We are called to live with a passion for God, every day, knowing that every moment is one moment closer to living with him for all eternity.

Today, look to the example of Moses as you make your choices today. Don’t. Hold. Back.
