Five ways to allow abundance in your life

Five ways to allow abundance in your life March 7, 2014

1. Be continually and sincerely thankful. Think of the things that make you smile, and be thankful for them. Think of the things that bring joy to your life, and be thankful for them. Get in the habit of being thankful for the smallest little details of life. There are so many of those small details that you can spend as much time as you wish in a state of gratitude. That gratitude opens you to even more abundance.

2. Give of yourself. To get abundance flowing into your awareness and your life, make room for it by freely giving of the considerable abundance that is always yours. That doesn’t necessarily mean giving all your money away so you’ll get even more. What it means is that when you allow value to flow out from you, through things such as your work, your compassion, and your encouragement of others, then you cannot help but also have more value flowing into your life.

3. Accept the moment, without judgment or anxiety. Remind yourself that all is well, and that you can handle whatever comes along. If you fight against what is, you push abundance away from your life. Instead, choose to accept whatever is coming your way at the moment. Acceptance does not mean that you agree with or approve of what is happening. Maybe you do agree with it, and maybe not.

4. Get busy and do something useful. It doesn’t really matter what. What matters is that you’re making an effort and making a difference. What matters is that you’re taking an active role in life.

5. Imagine your dreams as already fulfilled. Richly visualize in great detail how each day of your life can be when you reach your most treasured dreams. What do you see? How does it feel? Is the light bright or is it subdued. What do you hear? Is it warm or cool? Is there a breeze blowing? What aromas can you detect? Open yourself to the very abundance that will bring those dreams to life.
