Valentine’s Day | To Pray for What Seems to be Impossible

I have been taking time to pray for what seems to be impossible… just… about… every… day…

01.10.26

I have cleaned you.
You are pure!

Prayer for future wife…
For my thoughts to always drift to her

01.11.26

Prayer for remarriage…
Make me ready

A regular customer came in to work yesterday. We’re both divorcees. He asked if I’m thinking about getting remarried and I said yes. Then he told me he’s engaged! Wait…
How did it happen so quickly? We’ve both been divorced about the same time.
He took time to encourage me.

01.12.26

If I already know her, may we have already laid a foundation.
If I don’t know her yet, may we just come to know it’s right somehow.

01.13.26

I pray that either she would be Pentecostal or become Pentecostal before we are engaged; and that she would help me see Pentecost through new eyes.

Anna of the North
My Love

01.15.26

And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4.19, NRSV

I pray my future wife and I will share moments that make her even more attractive to me, and that I will always be captivated with a sense of wonder at her beauty!

01.16.26

I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43.19, NRSV

I’m praying for her, but I pray that she’s praying for me too.

01.21.26

I pray for her that she would have courage, the tenacity to make it through. If she’s lost her ability to fight, help her to get back her fight (Ephesians 6).

If my latter days will be better than my former days….
Then I pray that I have saved the best of me for her!
